Who are we?

The Republic of Bushistan is a micronation located in Eastern North Carolina. It is North Carolina's oldest active micronation. Bushistan is the most culturally Southern and North Carolinian micronation in the state, being located in a more rural area. 

Our History

On December 19th, 2020, a declaration of independence was drafted and signed by three people to form the Republic of Bushistan. Since that day, Bushistan has been through civil wars, conflicts, allies have come and gone, and through it all, Bushistan has emerged to become what it is today. We are excited about the future while continuing to honor our past and our victories
